Keen sportsmen love Bystřice. There is a swimming pool, a shooting and fencing range, stables with a hurdle circuit and parkour as some pentathlon stars were born here. The school area includes a sports hall, a gymnastics gym and a fitness centre.
Except for the indoor sports facilities there is also a workout playground, a climbing wall, two football grass pitches, a playground with a synthetical grass surface and 200m long running track. In the PZKO park near the Hluchová river there are tennis courts, an outdoor workout and a beach volleyball court.

Indoor fitness gym
Children and Youth Centre provides a newly equipped fitness gym with two rooms – one for work out activities and the second one for aerobic activities. The first one is equipped with machines for different muscle groups, multifunctional tower and a set of free weights. The second one is equipped with running track, exercise bikes and steppers.

Outdoor fitness gym
The gym is situated in park PZKO. It consists of several outdoor bodyweight exercise machines.
Workout playground
Modern workout playground was opened in 2015.The facilities are available all year round, nowadays there is also a club with professional coaches. Due to the enormous demand the municipal authority prepares enlargement of this playground (both place and equipment).
Climbing wall
Brand new sports facility. Climbing on a small several meters high wall without belaying. Foam ground under the wall absorbs possible jumping and falling. It is a modern after school activity developing positive attitude to nature, building friendship, strong will and strong mind.
Swimming pool Bystřice
The indoor swimming pool Bystřice was built in 2001 as a part of the local school and pre-school sport complex. It is run by the municipality and open throughout the whole year. The pool is 25 long and 8,5 metres wide and has four lanes. The water depth ranges from 90 to 160 centimetres. There is also a 13 long and 4 metres wide adjoining children’s pool with water attractions, in which water is 70 to 90 centimetres deep. One can relax there and enjoy attractions such as a water spout, bead bench, water wall and a bottom massage jet. The temperature of water ranges from 28 to 32 degree Celsius, which makes the pool suitable for swimmers of all ages and physical abilities.
